Sugarite Canyon State Park Overview
Sugarite Canyon State Park has two campgrounds – Lake Alice with 16 sites and Soda Pocket with 25. There are 9 sites with water and electric (30 amp) hookups and 2 full hookup campsites (30 amp). Group camping is also available.

Turkey hunting several years ago (called them in but was unsuccesful with traditional bow/arrow) I saw four (4) bears within 10 minutes, two on each side of the canyon when walking down trail. Nice! We need more bears and fewer big trailers etc.
